Welcome!

Poverty in our world causes individuals and families to be vulnerable to malnutrition, disease, and exploitation. We work closely with vulnerable people around the world to improve their lives in the present and for future generations.

Paul and Naomi

Our mission is to use our time, talents, and resources to provide help and hope to the greatest needs in the world.

After years of frequent trips to NYC and abroad to serve on missions teams, we’ve established BLIP to support our independent service.

Donations to BLIP go to help meet the needs of the vulnerable people we’ve been serving: everyday necessities for our homeless friends in NYC and building supplies and training for our friends in the developing world.

We moved from rural Pennsylvania to New York in 2018, where we volunteer at the New York School for Urban Ministry (NYSUM) in exchange for a room. In Pennsylvania, Paul was a cabinetmaker and Naomi was a teacher. We travel to the village in Kenya where our friends live, and to other parts of the developing world where we’re connected with trusted NGOs as frequently as possible, where we support the community in their own development projects and train people in vocational skills like carpentry and tailoring.
